What’s Included in Your Veneer Consultation and Process

Smile Analysis and Design

We’ll listen to your goals, examine your smile, and discuss what’s possible. Using digital imaging, we’ll show you a preview of how veneers will transform your smile so you know exactly what to expect.

Tooth Preparation, Impression and Mold

We’ll prepare your teeth by removing a small amount of enamel from the front surface. We’ll take precise impressions of your prepared teeth to ensure your veneers fit perfectly and blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Temporary and Permanent Veneer Placement

While your permanent veneers are being created in our lab (typically one to two weeks), we’ll place temporary veneers to protect your teeth. Once your permanent veneers are ready, we’ll permanently bond them in place after checking the fit, shade, and bite.

How Long Do Porcelain Veneers Last?

With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years or longer.

FAQ

Porcelain Veneers FAQ

How many teeth can I get veneers on?

Veneers can be placed on a single tooth or multiple teeth. Many patients choose to veneer their front six to eight teeth for a complete smile transformation.

Will my veneers look natural?

Yes. Modern porcelain veneers are custom-designed to match your natural teeth perfectly, including color, shape, and translucency.

How long does the veneer process take?

The entire process typically takes two to three weeks from consultation to final placement.

Do veneers require special care?

No special care is needed. Brush and floss your veneers just like your natural teeth. Avoid very hard foods.

Are veneers permanent?

Veneers are not permanent because some enamel is removed during preparation. However, they’re designed to last many years.
